A very successful quantitative hedge fund is looking for a Head of Operations to oversee their trading activities in Asia (Hong Kong)
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the trading operations activities in Hong Kong
• Manage trade flows to ensure maximum business performance
• Responsible for syndication of departments - IT, trading, quant, risk, support,etc to improve communication capacity
• External communication with clients, outsourced activities
• Responsible Officer for the Asia/Hong Kong trading acitivities
• Legal and Compliance
Ideal candidate:
• At least 5 years of experience in trading operations management perferably in Hong Kong
• Prior experience in similiar environment such as hedge funds or proprietary trading firms is highly regarded
• Solid knowledge in local regulations and legal and compliance issues
• Qualified responsible officer would be desired
• Excellent Communication and coordination skills
