Our client, successful Real Estate Private Equity firm, is looking for an experienced analyst to join their Beijing platform.
The Senior Analyst will support all of the major underwriting, research and execution functions of the company.
The Senior Analyst will also play an integral role in all aspects of the investment process including research, acquisitions, financing, asset management and due diligence.
An international background and multi-lingual capabilities are necessary for the required Senior Analyst functions of all current and future projects.
Responsibilities:
Essential functions and responsibilities consist of creating valuation/financial models, preparing presentations, writing offering memoranda and working directly with operating partners on investment acquisitions.
Senior Analysts should expect external interaction with advisors, operating partners and third-party consultants to source and review acquisition opportunities.
Senior Analysts are encouraged to take on as much responsibility as they can successfully handle, including analyzing investment opportunities and industries, conducting due diligence on investments and assisting in all company's activities.
Candidate should be fluent in Mandarin and English.
Requirements:
• Graduate from top academic program with solid record (finance background - a plus)
• 1-3 years of relevant real estate, investment banking, and management consulting or buy-side experience from a leading bulge bracket firm
• Strong quantitative skill set: accounting, quantitative and financial modeling
• Strong writing and communication skills: ability to develop clear, concise written analyses on a variety of companies, projects and industries
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ideal candidate should have a background in the real estate sector
• Proficient in MS Office applications and working knowledge of databases and reference sources
