Our client is a proprietary trading firm. Activities include being a market maker and they are expanding into Korea and Japan.
Function Profile:
The successful candidate will be a member of the team responsible for developing user interfaces for the in-house developed trading systems.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Design and implementation of Client User interface (Dephi, .NET and JAVA)
-Work with server side developers to implement functionality to the user
-Work with traders to design the user interface to maximize their productivity
-Maintain a consistent look and feel to applications developed in house.
-Provide Tier 3 supports for client side applications.
-Work with Support and Development to improve procedures and implementation of systems.
Candidate Profile:
-Good understanding of User Interface flow and design
-Solid grasp of client server integration (winsock & multi-threading)
-Advanced knowledge of Windows
-General Support knowledge
-University Degree in Computer Science
-3+ year of experience implementing User Interface
-Experience with Linux is a plus
-Good command of spoken and written English
