Our client is a leading US manufacturer of home textiles. They have several sites in China and they look for home textile professionals to be based in Shanghai:
VP Product Development (Merchandising)
Min 5 + years of merchandising experience in home textile industry;
Solid experience leading and managing a Product; have experience in Home Textiles as it relates to the development of fabric and finished product.
Be able to manage a Development team of 5 to 10 people;
Must possess at least an under- graduate degree in Textiles
Must be a problem solver and be able and qualified to oversee on time delivery Issues, technical initiatives, and quality control type issues packaging and testing.
Must have excellent communication skills and be hands on in their leadership style.
Good spoken Chinese would be a great plus
VP Technical Design and QA
Min 5 + years of in technical design and quality management experience in home textile industry;
Must have at least an undergraduate degree in Textile Engineering and Textile Chemistry;
Must be able to work with Merchandisers/Product Developers in providing technical assistance to factories in fixing fabric, color and dyeing and all QA problems;
Should be an expert in managing Quality Assurance and be able to ensure that the Standards are being followed.
Must be able and willing to travel to factories on a regular basis;
Should know CAD and photoshop;
Good spoken Chinese would be a great plus
