A globally recognised international rights holder with aspirations to grow the sport across China. Working within Marketing and Media division the Senior Director of Business Development will lead new business development for marketing partnerships, with shared responsibility for overall marketing partnership relationships and revenues across all assets, in China.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult with both multinational and Chinese companies to determine their marketing objectives and present, deliver, and sell integrated programs that will meet these objectives – and ultimately lead a staff to do same. These programs will include marketing benefits, media, interactive, and event-based assets in the region.
• Maintain understanding of corporation's organization, sales and marketing activities, as well as the strategic direction of its international markets and competitors.
• Manage relationships internally and serve as a liaison between the s corporate headquarters and regional offices around the world to ensure sales goals are being met.
Skills Required:
• Successful track record in attaining and exceeding targeted revenue and related results. This must involve delivering integrated programs that would include media, print, interactive and event based assets
• High proficiency (with fluency preferred) in both English and Mandarin
• Minimum 10 years successful work experience involving sales, marketing, and management; with at least 5 years in China / greater China.
• Sponsorship, advertising, media, and/or sports marketing experience highly preferred
