Senior Manager, Black Belt, BPI, Shanghai
Job Summary:
• Lead projects/initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business/customer
• Responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications contributing to the overall strategy within functional areas of expertise
• Provide overall Business Process Improvement (BPI) leadership for assigned business unit
• Serve as change agent by stimulating, communicating and institutionalizing BPI initiatives
• Responsible for partnering with Business Process Owners /leaders to define and execute the productivity strategy
• Conduct regular project reviews with leaders for progress, status and issues
• Seek, share and institutionalizes best practices
• Following completion of a rigorous training program, serve as an expert resource to the business on BPI philosophy and approach
• Drive out waste (Lean) and variation (Six Sigma) in processes through proper use of tools and training
Typical Position Pre-requisites:
• Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college
• Recognized expert in the functional area with at least 5 additional years of experience (especially transactional work including pricing, proposal, IT, customer service, finance, legal) and/or business process improvement
• Excellent in oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Highly energized individual and is passionate about change
• Team player with track record of meeting and exceeding deliverables, leadership experience is desired
• Experience in managing and developing direct reports is desirable
