Overview
Our client is a German trading company that sources their products from China and exports them to Europe. In order to strengthen their quality control team they are looking for an independent Quality Manager to join their team and audit factories.
Responsibilities:
- Performing quality inspection at factories all over China
- Independent Inspection with heavy travelling involved
- Coordination with headquarters in Germany
- Work closely with suppliers and monitoring them in terms of production plan compliance
- Working independently and help factories to improve their quality
Requirements:
- Product knowledge on non-food hardgoods (consumer goods, to be sold in supermarkets) crucial
- Inline inspection Experience, preferably in retail business for European/ German customers
- Familiar with European testing standards like GS testing, FFU testing, chemical
requirements
- Factory Audit experience
- Experience in working with test labs like TUEV, SGS, Intertek
- European National, preferably German or Asian foreigners
