Job details Our client, leading International Bank in Asia, is currently leveraging on its existing presence in Asia and is looking for aditional key people to strenghten its platform. They are looking to onboard experienced RM to develop new clients and take care of their existing clients.

Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager

The role-holder is the focal point of contact for the bank's corporate clients. They deliver tailor-made financial solutions to the client by leveraging successfully on the bank's key capabilities whist maximizing return on capital.


Responsibilities:


Reporting to the Team Head, you will be required to proactively manage existing and prospective clients to achieve agreed revenue and volume targets. Your major responsibilities will be:
1) Work closely with clients to secure both new business in the PRD region and to deepen the existing business relationship in the middle markets segment
2) Manage key relationships with the existing and potential clients with a view to leveraging further business and widening the portfolio
3) Tailor existing products to meet individual client's needs
4) Act as a conduit of information on client preferences, specific product feedback and future product requirements to product management colleagues
5) Provide feedback to marketing and product management colleagues on efficacy of marketing strategies and tactics, and customer experience of the products and services offered
6) Work closely with counterparts in other countries to ensure a consistent approach to client management, marketing, and product positioning in the region
7) Manage credit quality standards through effective management of risk according to the Bank's policies and procedures


Requirements:
To meet the challenge, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
1) A university graduate with a proven track record of senior relationship management experience in corporate banking
2) Possess a wide range of banking products knowledge
3) Strong credit and risk analysis skills and CPA is definitely as an advantage
4) A team player and a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus and drive for success
5) Fluency in spoken and written English and Putonghua a must

Associate Director / Director

To provide proactive account relationship management in respect of the designated portfolio and in acquiring new customers in accordance with Local Corporates' Underwriting Standards, with the objectives of maximizing profits and returns whilst minimizing bad debts, actively cross-selling the Bank's other products and services and ensuring that this portion of the Team's targets are met.

Responsibilities:
- Market new business, and increase the gross profitability to the Team of existing customers within the portfolio, in line with credit policies, HK underwriting standards and targets set by the Senior Manager (the latter by cross selling). Increase utilization of the Bank and other subsidiaries / associates' products, with emphasis on trade finance products.
- Maintain and control existing business to ensure that our customers are of the highest standard with the aim of maximizing returns and profit of each relationship, with the minimum being as laid down by the credit policies.
- Maintain close contact with customers and monitor customer quality in order to minimize the risk of loss to the Bank. Job holder is primarily responsible for any losses occurring in facilities approved or recommended by him / her.
- Approve limit applications granted under discretionary powers and recommend applications for higher level approval where appropriate.
- Undertake regular inspection of assets and documents which represent security for the Bank.
- Ensure that all administration associated with the portfolio is done accurately in accordance with laid down procedures and in a timely manner.


Requirements:
- Solid business acquisition track record with concrete relevant corporate relationship management and account management experience
- Having handled over 100 reasonably large corporates
- University graduate or with professional qualifications attained; master degree holder will have advantage
- Good command of spoken and written skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- A wide and proven connection with the local business community of quality corporates (likely to be demonstrated by past working experience of similar nature in leading banks)
- Proven past achievements in similar roles of cross selling and customer acquisitions
- Excellent knowledge of banking products including trade finance, cash management, treasury
