You’ll be part of this fast growing company in this emerging market, China. They have only just begun this adventure, and we’re seeking a key influencer to take their business from good to great.
They are Pre-IPO company with about 160 employees but generates amazing revenue and continues the rapid growth in the past several years.
This individual will be the key person to build up China R&D to hundreds of people including Engineering, QA team and Support team, probably will also manage China business operation in the near future.
The challenge lies in:
How would you build up software development team from scratch to a R&D center with hundreds of engineers? What would you do to align the international development team with different culture? What would be the best software engineering practice you adopt to create a super efficient R&D center in China?
People who's fear of the unknown/uncertainty, please leave this to others, this is not for someone who's used to hiding under the roofs and waiting for sunshine. We need a Rock-Star candidate to hire, train and retain the A team of rock stars.
Great adventures always start with people of bravery.
You will already be working as the head of A world class software development unit in a ISV or Enterprise software company, perhaps in the online platform, content delivery, cloud computing, SAAS or IPTV space(not hardware or semiconductor) You will be inspiring leader well versed in best practice development methodology such as Agile, Scrum.
You should ideally speak Mandarin, Fluent English is a must.
