Job details SUMMARY:
  • Technical assistance to the Account Director
  • Technical and managerial guidance to various Sales Engineers assigned to a specific account


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific functional tasks:
  • Work with the Account Director on selected target account opportunities within the assigned account to identify revenue opportunities within those accounts
  • Coordinate and provide technical support to ensure that we are selected to provide proposed solutions or services
  • Develop and present product and applications slides to potential customers
  • Respond to technical Bids, RFI's and RFP's
  • Hands-on ability for PoC
  • Provide high-level network architecture
  • Capable of designing demos and integrating applications, as well as installing and performing system integration of various telecommunications and data equipment
  • Work with Professional Services to validate customer architecture
  • Interface with our Product Marketing and be the conduit for customer feedback


Manage post-sales efforts:
  • Oversee / coordinate installation of production equipment
  • Oversee EF&I, network testing and Acceptance Test Plans (as applicable)
  • Manage customer certification testing processes, and interface with customers and our engineering as issues arise
  • Monitor bug fixes, and feature development in code releases
  • Conduct on-going technical presentations to various organizations within the assigned account to uncover future opportunities and to strengthen the business relationship
  • Ensure that the relationship between our company and the assigned account is strong
  • Conduct technical reviews to ensure our company is meeting individual customer needs
  • Oversee all Pre- and Post-sales SE efforts within assigned account(s)


REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications & Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of telephony concepts from a carrier perspective and thorough understanding of voice over IP standards, applications, and practices



    • SS7, CAS, ISDN and Telephony services

    • IP routing, UNIX and Database

    • SIP, MGCP, Megaco, H.323, XML

    • VOIP, xDSL and other Voice Technologies

    • Experience with IAD's

    • Wireless for LTE, 3G, Pico Cell, Femto Cell

    • IMS Architecture and Protocols




  • Proven sales experience selling to the large Telco carriers e.g. PCCW

  • Self starter with excellent communication and presentation skills



    • Excellent command of English and Mandarin speaking and writing and negotiating




  • Accomplished at Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • BS + minimum of 7 years of related work experience

  • Located in HK
