Job Responsibilities:
• exceed revenue and margin targets, while also meeting expense forecasts
• develop strategic relationships with existing and potential partners and alliances
• drive customer satisfaction; coach, motivate and energize management team and staff
• develop strong proactive relationships with peers in other functions and businesses to improve cross-functional collaboration and ensure the continued development of the software culture and vision
• provide direction and advice to the senior management team within the software services
• ensure compliance with internal and external company policies and procedures
• has ownership of the software professional services country P&L, with the responsibility to meet and exceed revenue and margin targets
• implementation of major software projects
• work with Sales and other divisions to ensure customer satisfaction in the region
• provide leadership, motivation and clarity of purpose to a team with conflicting pressures across multiple countries
Key Requirements:
• strong academic background, university degree preferred
• at least 10 to 12 years’ experience in the IT industry, with 8 to 10 years’ senior professional services management experience, preferably in an enterprise software organisation
• experience leading a complex, multi faceted, multi business organisation, with a proven track record of leading an organisation through significant change, and managing a large services P&L to optimise revenue and growth
• highly developed people management skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve business and personal goals
• strategic thinker - able to keep the organisation ahead of the game
• strong commercial acumen with evidence of developing, negotiating and maintaining business
• ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners and other external organisations
• understands IT management and drivers
• must thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative and matrix environment
• must be able to travel extensively
