Title: Sales manager

Report to: Sales Director
POSITION PURPOSE:
This responsible for taking a broader, strategic view of the requirements of the company’s clients/alliances or markets and match them to customized solutions in China using the solution-selling model and strategy value based selling to achieve sales target objectives
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Plan for Success, Prepares plans to meet revenue/product/solution targets, ie. Industry or market segment; Prepares sales campaigns to address a particular market or industry
Segment with results projected in the next 3 to 6 months; Prepares sales reports and forecasts. ; Develops a strategy for a key account or initiative.
Generate New Business, Initiates contact at Senior Levels of customer’s business (“C” level) uncovers Customer’s need and maps to possible solutions.
Manage Key Accounts, Develops executive contract programs to market to the country manager Implements multilevel account strategies including business and technology users.
Grow Domain Knowledge, Researches the solutions and those of competitors.
Identifies key industry solution consultants and gain knowledge of their solutions.
Contribute to the Market Image, Develops solutions, proposals or position papers, creates presentations and use multiple sources to gather information.
Team Leadership, Provides support and help to other team members
Build Internal and External Relationships, establishes strong multilevel client/alliances with existing and potential clients with a bias towards business owner’s vs technology owners. Manages relationships with tactical or existing alliances/industry analysts
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree and above
At least 8 years relevant sales experience in a software vendor or relevant industry knowledge.
