Report to: Senior Finance Manager, Consumer Banking
Location: Shanghai
This is a tier one European bank with more than 50 years’ history in China and a growing presence in Asia. Its finance team is currently looking to recruit a top talent for its consumer banking business.
Key Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Head of Finance - Consumer Banking :
o work closely with the Consumer Banking team and attending to their ad-hoc financial requests
o prepare forecast and annual budget
o prepare management reports and analysis for business performance management
• Monthly reporting
o monthly Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet analysis
o profitability/trends analysis of the business based on various products
• Financial reporting
o ensure accounting matters for the business are in accordance with accepted accounting practices
o review the PAR to ensure bank policies are followed, calculation is accurate and supporting documents are in place
Key Requirements:
• MBA or degree holder in Accounting/Finance with over 10 years’ relevant experience in Banking/Finance
• audit experience is preferred
• professional Accounting qualification
• wealth management experience would be an added advantage
• strong interpersonal and communication skills
• self-motivated and ability to work independently
