Job details Our client is one of the Newspaper Publishing Groups, they are currently seeking for a MIS Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage software development and support activities of management information reporting, automation of business workflow, system-to-system integration
  • Formulate MIS strategy, introduce and enforce best practices in software development
  • Lead MIS staff to evaluate and implement product and solution
  • Manage and negotiate with outsourced consultants or vendors
  • Perform business analysis to make a valid case to improve software efficiency for users


Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10 years software development experience with at least 3 years in managerial level
  • Oracle Financials is ideal or similar ERP systems experience
  • Advantageous to have publishing/media industry experience and understand business flows i.e. Circulation, Advertising software
  • Scalable and mission critical software applications or business support systems implementation
  • Experience in systems analysis and systems design with large scale applications
  • PMP, CMMI or ITIL Manager knowledge necessary, certification holder an advantage
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
