Our client is a multinational / commercial establishment, they are currently seeking for an IT Retail Application Consultant.
In order to cope with rapidly changing retail business environment, their IT retail team is under expansion in APAC. They are looking for an experienced and high caliber candidate to fill the position. The successful incumbent will report to the Corporate IT Application Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up retail system by hardware and software installation, development and maintenance;
Work on complex problems required professional judgment in the selection of the method and technique to obtain a feasible resolution
Handle internal customers' enquiries and deliver user training with documentation
Liaise with internal customers, collect and analyze their business requirements, and translate them to system configuration in balance with global standard policy
Ensure the data transfer run properly between various systems by interfaces
Implement assigned projects and provide consultancy to streamline operational process flow to internal users
Report to Manager and act as escalation point for daily operations, project implementation, process and procedure improvement to enhance customer satisfaction of internal users
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Information Technology or any related fields
3+ years experience in Point-of-sale (POS) and/or ERP implementation
Thorough understanding of business process and requirements, particularly in the retail sector
Proficient in English and Mandarin
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with interest in international project assignments
Initiative, independent, strong problem solving skill & able to work under pressure
Willing to travel
