Job Description:
You are required to be in charge of category forecast and work with merchandising team to be in line with business unit and strategic plan. You will also set product launch objectives and make sure the targets are met and pro actively drive the agenda. You will initiate and execute major brand projects, ensure programs are executed per agreed time in marketing calendar and constantly update the marketing calendar. Work with related teams to meet launch objectives. You will lead monthly sales review and develop short term and long term action plan and implement proposed action plan. you will lead category business unit and strategic plan, lead the consumer insights/market intelligence initiative to drive category growth and identify opportunities and come up with action plans on regular basis. You will communicate areas of responsibility and level of performance expected of staff. You are accountable for staff job performance as well as compliance to policies and procedure, provide leadership development through coaching and mentoring staff.
The Successful Applicant:
Ideally, you have
* Bachelor's degree in marketing field; post graduate/MBA is preferred.
* In depth exposure to brand management
* 6 years of professional experience working with notable multinational retail, luxury goods, or consumer product companies, including 4 years marketing experience in a key role in the marketing function
* Sound knowledge of marketing/business strategy development
* Excellent system alignment and execution
* Strong analytical skills
* Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
* Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
