Our client is a leading telecommunications solutions provider, with very strong business in Greater China and worldwide; they are currently seeking for a Project Director (Telecommunication) to join their team in Shenzhen.
Responsibilities
Manage Application & Software projects, e.g. Billing & Customer Care, Intelligent Network, Messaging services
Support consulting and sales teams in tender preparation, project scheduling and costing
Schedule projects effectively to align with expectation of clients
Manage projects to be carried out on time and on budget, and monitor the delivery of logistic department
Liaise with main contractors and owners for smooth run of projects
Communicate with clients to ensure that all the requested changes and recommended corrective actions are processed through the pre-defined procedure
Provide weekly work-in-progress project report and conduct project review meeting with the management
Requirements
Degree or above in IT or Project Management related
8 to 15+ years experience in Software development projects management with value-added telecom services (accounting systems) project delivery management background
Familiarity with the communications network, billing systems
PMP, IPMP, APM, project management or other related certification
Fluency in English, preferably with an European second language
Candidates with less experience may be considered as (Senior) Project Manager.
