Our client is one of the fastest growing integrated advertising agencies in HK. They are currently seeking for experienced database programmers to help with the design and maintenance of their client databases and applications.
SUMMARY:
Maintain / develop the client's database and deliver a high standard of work using client data in the fulfilment of Database and Campaign activity
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge and experience in designing and maintaining large normalised databases
Knowledge and experience in maintaining and tuning SQL 2000 (and preferably 2005).
Ability to take control and manage new designs and scalability of the database.
University graduate in an IT related subject
2+ years experience working in a practical database environment
Good English communication skills
SQL Server 2005, 2000 & 7.0, Microsoft Access, DTS Package, DHTML, XML
Knowledge of Entity Relationship Modelling (Database Design), Physical Design (Tables, Queries, Views, Stored Procedures and possibly Forms and Reports), Database Maintenance (Security, User Rights, User Tablespace Allocations), Performance Tuning (Stored Procedures, Table Indexes, Table and Row Locking)
.NET development including database connectivity
Proven ability to write reports for end users with Word / Excel / Outlook automation through VB and writing VB macros will be ideal
