Hong Kong – Director, Financial Analysis (Modeling & Valuation Analysis) - REAL LIVE ROLE, INTERVIEWING NOW!
Our client is currently searching for Client Development Director to join their Hong Kong office.
The Client Development manages the Client Development Analysts; they are the link between the user and the company’s platform. Combining a thorough understanding of finance and their platform, Analysts help clients streamline their research/analysis process. The Analyst team assists clients in many ways including providing creative solutions through expert consultation; supporting the platform applications and creating financial Excel models, screens, and automation routines; and facilitating end-user training.
In addition to their daily responsibilities, Analysts will have the opportunity to take part in training programs where they learn about the financial markets and the analysis techniques used by their clients.
In short you will need to have a financial analysis background and a desire to be client facing. You will also be required to manage and direct a team of analysts and client support personnel.
For the Director position, the firm hires professionals from the financial services industry. They prefer candidates with experience in the investment research, money management, investment banking or financial consulting fields (hedge funds, asset management private equity etc).
These professionals will find that the firm provides a challenging and flexible environment, which values self-motivation and team collaboration.
Core Skills:
· Excellent analytical capabilities, including financial modeling and valuation analysis. VBA experience ideally
· Strong ability to communicate with clients in a clear manner and strong presentation skills
· Established relationship building and time management skills
· Ability to develop comprehensive recommendations in efforts to improve the business
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment
Specific Requirements:
· Bachelors degree required
· At least 6 years of direct experience working with the financial markets (an investment banking analyst program is preferred)
· Strong Excel skills - VBA Macros
