This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading international engineering consultancy on an overseas project in South Africa.
The project is the construction of a mega Coal Fire Plant with 3 x 800 mega watt generators. As the project is at the design stage you would be responsible for the Construction Management from inception to completion.
Based in South Africa you will play a key role as a leader to manage a Construction Site Team for project execution. Coordination and monitoring of site works and procurement to ensure all aspects of the project are delivered on time and meet specified quality requirements.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Member of HKIE or equivalent
Minimum of 15 years construction management experience with in the Power Sector with experience of at least one Coal Fire Plant Project.
Strong on site management, planning and procurement coordination.
Excellent communication and managerial skills
Fluency in Mandarin & English is essential to communicate with a large Chinese contractor
