- Establish proactive focus and rhythm for Asia-wide regulatory requirements and trends including Product Certifications (ie CCC for China), Compliance to regional Directives (ie RoHS and WEEE) , Government and Industry Energy Efficiency standards, and other applicable regulations.
- Work closely with Product Management, Technology and Legal to execute company-wide regulatory compliance, including but not limited to, product certifications, trademark registrations, packaging and commercialization requirements.
- Work with local teams and agencies to strategically assess regulatory direction while maintaining resources and databases of standards assessable by Systems Engineers and Product Management.
- Integrate regulatory considerations into product development strategies and business processes
Qualifications Required:
- University graduate in engineering discipline
- Minimum ten years technical experience in industrial systems products, electrical background is must
- Facilitate clear and collaborative communications across functions at all levels of the organization
- Results-oriented individual with ability to establish priorities in a multiple demand environment
- Ability to consider all issues from the customer’s perspective
- Fluent in Chinese and English, oral as well as written
