Job details Our client is currently seeking for an Assistant Purchasing Manager to join their food & beverage team in Macau.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the supply of F&B and non-F&B materials and services to the company's business units
  • Arrange provision of materials and services at reasonable price and good quality timely
  • Formulate purchasing strategy to maximize value of suppliers with the team
  • Maintain and review from time to time an efficient and effective supplier base that best supports business unit's business and operational requirements
  • Invite quotations, negotiate with suppliers, verify and complete the purchase requisitions for approval
  • Prepare and follow up purchase orders and expedite delivery
  • Qualify incoming goods upon receiving regularly


Requirements
  • 5 years procurement experience in hospitality industry with at least 2 years at supervisory level
  • Holder of diploma/certificate of Purchasing and Supply an added advantage
  • Experience using Micro-Fidelio purchasing system definitely a plus
  • General understanding of hotel and business operation
  • Displays a high commitment to improving customer service
  • Proven employee and customer orientation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
