The Senior Finance Manager is responsible to manage the Finance Dept. for East & Central China and the related finance tasks during integrations.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
• Iimplement effective finance policy and procedures, and internal control system. Streamline/improving financial procedures and processes where appropriate.
• Provide effective finance support by supervising the finance team of 30 staff. Motivate and train finance team to execute their duties competently.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, local regulations and legal requirements.
• Prepare, update and monitor financial budget.
• Support the business heads in all financial aspects.
• Proactively manage financial processes, reporting, controls and funding of new businesses.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of corporate monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting. Prepare monthly financial report, perform analysis and highlight areas of concerns.
• Manage treasury needs, cashflow, Accounts Receivables.
• Tax planning, explore and apply for suitable tax incentives. Ensure proper tax compliance and reporting.
• Support and facilitate financial aspects of business mergers / integration into existing organization.
• Prepare and ensure proper support and completion of internal and external audits.
• Handling ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with at least 5 years experience in supervisory position in logistics industry. The specific requirements are:
• Degree holder in Accounting and Finance Management
• Solid finance experience gained from international accounting firms
• The ability to define problems and offer solutions
• Able to work under pressure and commit to deliver on time
• A responsible self-starter and high level of independence
• Experience in logistics industry preferred but other related industries may suffice
• Outstanding people and communications skill, and ability to lead and deal effectively across functions. A team player with a flexible approach
• At least 10 years work experience
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua
• Impeccable integrity and willingness to advocate integrity standards forcefully
