Job details Our client is an European luxury brand, specializing in leather goods, clothing, fragrances and accessories.

Reporting to Managing Director – China, you will be responsible for identifying key market objectives and driving the sales and strategic vision of the brand across the China retail market.

Responsibilities

You will manage the full P&L of the China Retail market and oversee the selling, admin and marketing expenses of that market to ensure targets are achieved. You will also manage the merchandise function, including all range planning, seasonal OTB generation and quality control procedures. You will manage company inventory levels to ensure market gross stock and provision targets are achieved. You will formulate and implement the short and long term retail strategy for the market. You will be responsible for the set up and management of processes and working structures of the retail team; in addition you will implement staff training programs to ensure the development of effective teams and individuals to achieve their full potential. You will protect the integrity of the brand image in the market.

Requirement

Degree qualified, you will possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in high end fashion business, with at least 3 years management experience. A successful business leader with strong financial and commercial sense, you will have thorough understanding of the luxury products market. You MUST possess excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English. You will be based in Shanghai and will travel to other cities in China according to business needs.
