Mission:
- The Supplier Manager is fully responsible for the performance of the wind tower supplier
Tasks:
- Execution of running production and planned production: daily management of the supplier, minimizing business risks
- Monitoring and reporting on performance and status of deliveries; upstream improvement activities; evaluating processes
- Project management and implementation of new projects at the tower supplier
- Department management of the Lianyugang tower team
- Cross functional responsibility for SWP employees at supplier site
Experience
- More than 6 years experience in an order-producing company within the steel fabrication industry, of which 3 years of international experience will be required.
- Heavy manufacturing and production experience, project management experience and working in a matrix organization. Experience with management of quality and engineering issues would be an advantage. Deep insight in to contact and legal issues would be an advantage.
- Strong management and leadership skills and people management experience
- Demonstrate international cultural knowledge, and able to work in international cross functional teams
Education/Language:
- Master degree, major in production or mechanical
- Additional education within business administration would be an advantage.
- Fluent English, good Korean/Chinese will be a plus
