Oracle Applications Product Group (APG) focuses on product development, solution development based on Oracle Applications products such as E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft Enterprise, Siebel CRM, JDE, i-flex etc. We work closely with Oracle Headquarter, APAC and India Development Center to develop new products, APAC localizations and industry solutions in Finance, HRMS, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) areas.
Position Description:
As product manager in EBusiness Suites (EBS) field, you will review customer and product requirements with field experts and strategy team . You will create functional design document for localization or core product development based on approved requirements, your business and industry experiences, as well as solid product knowledge. You will also provide key input in multiple collateral such as product documentation, Transfer Of Information and will get tightly involved with our customers, international or domestic to better understanding their business processes and practices.
As senior/principle functional memebers in team, you will also need to take lead and contribute your expertise in the processes of brainstorm, review and discussion on requirement and design for various product development or localizations projects, in order to assure design quality and control solution direction.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Participate in Customer Business Requirement definition and review, working closely with Strategy team and Field experts (Sales consultant and OCS consultants)
2. Oversee and drive functional design projects, according to the directions and standards of Oracle E-Business suite Applications
3. Collaborate with product managers in core EBS development teams to discuss and review product design, identify and support integration touch points
4. Review solution and design made by other product managers in team,control quality of delivables and provide support and guidance.
5. Support Development during the Construct phase of projects
6 .Work closely with QA team, contribute and review QA test plans
7 .Participate actively in Field Readiness training for new releases and assist the documentation team.
8 .Manage strategic customers for successful implementation
Requirements:
1. BS or MS degree
2. CFA , ACCA will be a plus
3. 5+ years of EBS implementation and solution design experiences as senior/principle financial consultant
4. Must be expert in functionalities and business processes of financial modules,including GL,AP,AR, FA, CE, inter-company transaction , tax managementon and etc on Oracle Applications 11i or R12.
5. Experience in other product families,like supply chain, manufacture, CRM and etc will be a plus.
6. Project management experiences in big projects and have ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
7. Be able to demonstrate capability of solution and functional design
8. Ability to interact with customers,field experts, product strategy and prodcut development in Global and actively co-ordinate with them in requirements gathering and conduct design reviews in English, both written and verbal, including meetings and conference calls, be able to write design documents in English
