Job details Our client, a global Insurance firm is looking for an experience Risk and Compliance Manager to join their Hong Kong team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide advice to all staff on risk and compliance matters
- Responsible for establishing a formal internal control risk framework in alignment with Group practice
- Responsible for monitoring all compliance functions to conform to all relevant external regulations and internal codes and policies
- Regularly review and improve the internal control functions to ensure the quality and integrity of the processes
- Liaise with any external parties e.g. legal companies, auditors, regulators on risk and compliance related matters
- Liaise with Company Group’s risk functions to obtain the relevant support and to ensure compliance with Group practice
- Secretary to the Compliance and Operational Risk Committee (CORC)
- Provision of regular reports to the Group Risk Committee
- Responsible for managing, developing and the overall performance of the team
- Maintain a broad level of knowledge and awareness on all aspects of life assurance, legislation, compliance, the market and the best practices

Job Requirements:

- Qualification in finance/accountancy or legal services with a minimum of 4 years experience within Life Insurance Services
- Demonstrable ability in balancing risk and business development
- Experienced to provide the relevant advice to Executive Management and possible the Board of Directors
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work unsupervised, to work on own initiative and priorities work
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
