In this position you will work closely with development teams and individual engineers to understand requirements and functionality in order to develop and execute manual and automated test cases methodically exercising functional and customer use case testing. You will be responsible for working across multiple teams with a combination of hands-on testing, architecting test strategies, designing test suites, and developing software integrating into an automated testing infrastructure.
Qualifications
Must have the following qualifications: •Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. •Experience with Windows operating systems. •Strong coding skills with expertise in Perl, shell, Java, C, and/or C++ programming. •Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. •Strong written and verbal communication skills. •Excellent teamwork skills. •Self-starter. Willing and able to quickly learn new applications and technologies. •Experience in dealing with multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams •Ability to effectively manage diverse tasks and correctly prioritize multiple deadlines.
Desired qualifications: •Expertise in LAN and ATM setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for mobile networks •Experience with ATM and IP-based networking protocols, mobile network protocols, and/or equipment. •Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans for commercial applications. •Performance and stress testing expertise. •Experienced user of source code control systems (e.g. Rational ClearCase, Snapshot CM) •Experience with Linux operating systems
