In order to further enhance and promote their image locally, they are looking for an extremely talented writer to join as their innovative and exciting marketing and communications team as a PR & Media Manager.
Responsible for developing and implementing an effective communications strategy to enhance visibility in the local market, and track thought leadership pieces, developing specific stories for the media, and you will have to manage media enquiries and the quality of media materials before distribution. You will also be responsible for organizing and managing press and client hospitality events as well as other key events such as conferences, seminars and road shows.
The successful candidate must hold a degree in English or journalism, and hold at least 7 years relevant communications experience, preferably with experience as a journalist or features writer. You must have excellent written and spoken English and Cantonese skills, with Mandarin a plus, you must have a proven track record in dealing with the press, as well as in coordinating successful media campaigns. You must have first rate communication skills, successfully be able to manage multiple projects in a deadline based environment, and professional services experience is a plus.
