Our client is one of the most famous Consultancies worldwide and they are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to promote its new service line. In this position, the candidate will work with the Director of the service line to promote and develop various client opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
o Conduct scan of market landscape to understand client needs and gaps in current market offerings
o Identify demand for new services and market opportunities, and provide feedback to service line leadership to shape future service line offering
o Identify new client opportunities, and initiate relationships with potential clients
o Identify opportunities within ongoing projects that would benefit from service line
o Work with existing client service teams to incorporate service line offering with other supporting project models
o Provide inputs to client teams regarding new opportunities outside of the service line
o Support Director of the service line to develop long-term client relationships
o Deepen client relationships through regular contact
o Identify potential opportunities based on client feedback on content needs
Crucial Requirements and Qualifications:
• Undergraduate (BA/BS) degree. An advanced degree (MA/MS, MBA) is an added advantage.
• 8 to 10 years of hands-on sales experience in market research and knowledge based products and services.
• Experience in marketing new products and services.
• Good knowledge of consulting services and consumer trends.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Experience as a management consultant is an added advantage.
