Our client is the wealth management arm of a market leading Investment Bank. Due to their continued success and expansion across the Asian markets, they are presently looking for an Associate Director to join their Singapore office. Responsibilities will include providing expert legal advice and counsel, identifying and managing legal risk, advising and educating the business on any relevant legal issues and working with the existing legal team to address legal service requirements. The successful candidate will be a Singapore qualified lawyer with a strong technical knowledge of general banking law and financial services law specifically. Previous in-house experience and prior working experience in the asset management/wealth management/private banking sector would be of specific interest to the client. Fluency in English is expected and Cantonese or Mandarin would be beneficial.
