The internal hedge fund of a leading European Investment Bank is presently seeking a mid level lawyer to join their Singapore based team. The main objectives of this role are to advise and support the business and product development team as well as provide legal and regulatory advice to management on issues relating to their Real Estate and Private Equity Funds, including new products and business initiatives. The incumbent will also be required to manage and coordinate external counsel. The successful candidate will be a Singapore or Hong Kong qualified lawyer with several years experience in structuring, distribution, management and investment of retail and institutional funds and related asset management areas, preferably with focus on real estate and private equity funds. Candidates with transactional experience in private equity, real estate or general corporate M&A will be considered. Fluent English is expected and Mandarin would be advantageous but not essential.
