Having achieved a dominant position worldwide, the company is ready to further build on its success in the Asia Pacific region. To achieve this we need an energetic Channel Sales Manager to manage and motivate our existing channel partners in the region as well as establishing new relationships with partners in territories where we are not currently represented.

The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Create a sales and marketing plan for the region in conjunction with the Worldwide Channel Sales Manager and the Global Marketing Initiatives Manager
- Work closely with existing channel partners to:
o assist them on major bids via joint selling exercises
o establish plans suitable for each individual territory in terms of pricing, market support and training
o provide sales and product training to partner personnel where required
- Provide a monthly sales forecast for channel sales in the region
- Attend regular sales meetings both in the region and at head office in the UK
- Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets

This is a role which demands a true entre-preneurial approach. Candidates should approach the role as an opportunity to create and manage their own Asia-Pacific partner network. They will enjoy a large level of independence in the role while at the same time benefiting from the support of a worldwide organization with unrivalled brand recognition.

It demands more than just salesmanship. You need to be flexible enough to create relationships with a wide range of customers in a culturally diverse region, as well as being an excellent time manager and selective about where you spend your time.

Pre-requisites
Fluency in local language and English
At least three years experience in building and managing channel business in Asia
Educated to degree level equivalent
Proven record of success in growing channel business for international companies
An international outlook with regards to different cultures
At least three years experience in an international software sales role
Prepared to travel throughout Asia where necessary

Desirable/Not Essential
Further Asian language capability
Technical IT qualification
Experience in a software pre-sales role
Experience of working in the CAT (computer aided translation) industry
Experience of working with international translation agencies
