Our client is a leading US Bank offering Corporate & Investment Banking services. With an already established presence in the US and Europe, their key focus now is to further expand the Asia business and operations. As part of this growth plan, a newly created opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shared Services Controller to join the Regional Financial Control unit.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Financial Control, you will manage projects and initiatives for the Finance function, manage all aspects of product extension into new markets as well as building out a regional Finance Shared Services Centre for the region. Your primary focus will be the roll out of Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Payroll systems. In addition, you will provide consultancy support and financial analysis for Finance related strategies, lead regional Finance efficiency initiatives and implementations, develop key metrics and financial models for results measurements/tracking.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
A university degree and ideally a professional accounting qualification
Minimum 8 to 10 years experience with at least 5 years relevant project management experience gained from Financial Services or large MNC
Exposure to Shared Services Support function for Finance/Accounting would be highly advantageous
Strong project management skills with ability to work with all levels of management in cross-function and cross-cultural teams
Excellent interpersonal skills with fluency in English
