Our client is a leading US asset management house and due to continued expansion in the Asian region, they are presently seeking a Head of Compliance for their Singapore office. The successful candidate, who would report into the Regional General Counsel based in Hong Kong, will have at least eight years existing compliance experience and be able to demonstrate an existing track record of managing a compliance function, mentoring junior staff, and autonomously advising business lines on compliance issues. Candidates would also be expected to demonstrate an excellent understanding of domestic and regional compliance legislation/regulations and successfully liaise with regional regulatory authorities.
