The Successful Applicant:
The successful candidate could come from a variety of different backgrounds and will have different motivations for wanting to get into this role. Our client is happy to look at people who will look to work part time (perhaps in addition to their main role) and simply gain satisfaction from teaching. The successful candidate will be a native English speaker and writer, who considers themselves a market practitioner with substantial years of work experience in the finance and securities industry.
Typical relevant professional qualifications would include CFA, FRM, CAIA, ACCA, QP and HSKI. Prior experience and knowledge of the local financial regulatory framework (for example: equity, derivatives, valuations, corporate finance, financial, modeling, risk and operation management) is near-essential.
Looking at the transferable skills required for this role, strong communication and excellent presentation skills (preferably with teaching experience) are an absolute must.
