A top City firm is actively searching for a mid to senior level corporate associate to join its market leading practice. Our client has built its reputation advising corporates, investment banks and private equity firms on complex and innovative transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, takeovers and corporate restructurings. The ideal candidate will have worked in a top UK or Australian firm and will have experience in international M&A transactions. Private equity experience is also highly desirable although not essential. Candidates should be able to work independently with minimum supervision and will be expected to mentor junior lawyers. Asian language skills and experience would be preferred but our client is willing to consider applicants from outside the region. Overseas based lawyers are therefore encouraged to apply for this position.
