A top tier bank is looking for a talent to join its Prime Fund Solutions Department as a Senior Fund Accountant
Job Responsibilities:
- supervising the Fund Accountants/Assistant Fund Accountants in carrying out the following activities:
- Recording and processing trade transactions, obtaining and verification of relevant documentation therof and ensuring that investments are correctly recorded;
- Accounted for purchase and sale of listed and unlisted securities; Corporate Actions; Forex FX deals; OTC deals (Swaps, Options, etc) executed under ISDA Master Agreement;
- Recording and disbursing dividends either by payment and re-investment;
- Calculationg and disbursing payment of fees to the investment manager / advisor, custodian, admininstrator and other service provider;
- Reviewing invoices and disbursing payments of funds' expenses.
2/ Reviewing Net Asset Valuation Report (on a monthly and quarterl basis)
3/ Reviewing Protfolio valuations and other reporting, as required.
4/ Answering inquiries from the investment managers or clients
5/ Assist in preparation of, interim and annual financial in connection with the fund's audit
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accountancy, Business Administration or Commercial Studies.
- Qualication in ACCA a must
Business experience required :
- Minimum 4-5 years working experience related in the audit or fund administration field.
- Fund accounting background a must
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
- Good communication and supervisory skill.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong team-player.
