The Digital Test Division (DTD) is one of the key divisions in Agilent Network and Digital Solutions Business Unit (NDS). It includes on Oscilloscopes, Logic and Protocol Test, and Digital Photonic Test. This role will require you to use both your technical and business skills to work with our sales, application engineering, and marketing teams to deliver growth. You participate in the creation of a business development plan; and you will also be accountable for the implementation of many parts of this plan. The Business Development Engineer will also lead DTD-Scope business development efforts in South China by interfacing with field teams, building relationships with key customers and driving new applications/solutions in related industries. The primary responsibility includes: - Be accountable for Division Product Line (PL) related marketing and business development plans. Define and execute PL strategy and related plans. - Deal management in key customers/projects - Tracking business development and close gaps through various Marketing and BD actions - Single point of contact for product - Marketing activities support. Create and implement programs to maximize our business in the Digital Test product market - Key customer and market engagement - Organize and conduct trainings both to internal and external.
Qualifications
This position requires candidate educated to at least university degree level with 3+ years' high speed digital design, validation test, and signal integrity experience. Strong business skills, a willingness to work in an intensely competitive and dynamic market, and a positive team-oriented attitude are critical. Deep knowledge about computing, consumer electronics, high speed digital design, high speed serial buses, and digital test products and customers are important. Experience working with field sales teams and customers will be a big plus.
