In Asia, it has 17 Partners, 76 Lawyers. They have been in HK for 15 years since 1995 and want to open Beijing in short to medium time frame. Its has four main practice areas: finance, employment, life sciences and patent capability. They are strong in Pharma/Biotech, Energy/oil, life sciences and TMT. They pay their partners on a modified lockstep. Their most profitable practice is in hedge funds in Europe, HK. And in private equity, structured finance, derivatives, sovereign wealth funds, infrastructure.
Requirements:
A local Junior Partner based in Shanghai.
Someone who has a relationship with the government, understand hedge funds, specialty in Anti-monopoly merger filing, energy.
Accessing customers who are Chinese companies looking to reach out.
Payment depends on the area of focus and portable business/potential to generate business.
Excellent English-language communication drafting skills
