Our client is one of the world's most international banks. Their operation in Singapore is expanding rapidly and as a result they are recruiting for a costing specialist to join their existing team in this newly created role.



In this role, your primary focus will be forecasting, budgeting and capacity planning. This is a global role that will require active interaction with finance and operational teams hence, excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills are a must.



A high volume role requiring tight monitoring of costs, experience in cost based costing and cost & management accounting principles are a necessity as you will use these skills to identify cost drivers and efficiency opportunities. You will also be required to build capacity models and undertake ad hoc projects from time to time. In this regard, candidates with costing experience from both the Manufacturing and Banking industries will be considered.



Depending on the candidate, this role has the possibility to grow into a role with management responsibilities, hence an individual with a passion for costing and management accounting is desired.



Ideally, you will have a university qualification and strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Powerpoint skills). You will have the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions. Teamwork, decision making and strong interpersonal skills are also key skills to have.
