Job details Our client, a European proprietary trading firm which provides brokerage, derivatives consultancy and asset management services is looking for a highly experienced Middle Office Manager to lead their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
- lead the middle office dept
- supervise other Middle Office staff
- give suggestion and direction for the daily operations and the development of Middle
Office
- negotiate with external parties e.g. clearing houses
- work closely with management staff, internal Traders and IT people

Requirements:

- at least 5 years working experience in Middle Office/Operations Dept.
- familiar with Middle Office operations including devising accurate P&L on daily basis
and position reconciliation
- familiar with the operations of the Clearing houses in HK and other parts of Asia e.g.
Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communications skills and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge in automating Middle Office operations
- strong numeric sense
- dynamic and with initiatives
- good people management experience
- can work with multi-culture
