As they are now looking to expand their Group Internal Audit department regionally to cope with the expansion of the banks activities and to provide sufficient risk-based audit coverage for Finance related areas, they are seeking accounting trained product controllers with sound product knowledge to join them. This function will have full responsibility for delivering an effective and independent risk based program of internal audits across different operation divisions including Private Banking/Asset Management and Treasury.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
1. Relationship Management
Maintain key relationships with stakeholders in audit assignments and raise potential risk and control issues to audit management.
Support Group Audits role as a trusted advisor to the BU/SU in control matters.
2. Execute audit assignments
Execute and complete all audits in accordance with departmental and IIA standards.
Undertake audit engagements assigned by the Regional Audit Specialist and/or VP of the team.
3. Provide expertise in subject areas
Advise and apprise promptly the Regional Audit Specialist and/or VP of the team of all major risk, control and regulatory issues arising during the audit.
4. Professional development
Keep abreast of own professional development to enhance ones skills and competence.

Experience/Knowledge/Qualifications Required:
-A bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
-An ACCA/CA/CPA qualification is highly desirable
-At least 1 year of Product Control experience in Asset Management, Private Banking or Treasury and possesses general understanding of overall banking business.
-Excellent communication skills (written and spoken), interpersonal and diplomacy skills required
-Enthusiastic, self motivated and effective under pressure
