In view of the further expansion of its activities, Dimexon Eurostar is recruiting a new member for its management team in Qingdao in the position of :
Expat Manager Product Engineering Jewellery Manufacturing

Your Mission :
• You will be in charge of Product Engineering covering areas like : CAD Design, Prototyping and Hand Model Making. You will be leading, coaching and training a team of 4 Section Heads, responsible for approx. 50 people.
• You will be supervising and improving efficiency, development time, product accuracy, customer focus, methods, quality and cost control.
• You will concentrate and continuously update on modern trends in Jewellery design, industrial engineering and best manufacturing practices.
• You will coordinate with Sales & Marketing and Design teams in Hong Kong and overseas to understand specific customer needs and market requirements. You will also work closely together with Production, Quality Assurance, HR, Logistics, ICT, Facility Engineering and Finance.
• You will report directly to the Factory General Manager.
Your Profile :
• For this challenging management role we are looking for an engaging professional with a higher technical degree (e.g. Bachelor or Master in Industrial Design & Engineering) and a successful experience in design, methods and industrial engineering for the jewellery industry or similar.
• You are able to combine efficient planning and soft people management and motivational skills with a research attitude and an ongoing alertness to improvement opportunities.
• You are highly attuned to cross-cultural sensitivities and able to motivate both managers and shop-floor employees from different cultures.
• You are an entrepreneurial, technically sound and proactive problemsolver and hands-on decisionmaker with strong analytical and communication skills. You have a passion for consistently delivering the highest levels of quality. You have a keen sense for detail and accuracy.
• You are fluent in English and ready to work and live in a culturally diverse environment in China.
