Our client is a proprietary trading firm. Activities include being a market maker and they are expanding into Korea and Japan.
Function Profile:
The successful candidate will be a member of the team responsible for financial exchange connectivity for in-house developed trading systems.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Communicate with traders to collect the requirements of trading systems
-Design and implementation of trading system
-Work with client side developers to implement functionality
-Provide integrated testing and UAT for new implemented trading systems
-Provide Tier 3 support for server side applications
Candidate Profile:
Technical Requirements
-Strong skills on C/C++, Java, PHP, SQL, BASH
-Solid experience on TCP/IP socket, multi-threading programming
-Good knowledge on server-client architecture and multi-tier application design
-Knowledge on high performance computing design (e.g. data structure, multi-threading synchronization)
-Strong experience with Linux development
-Knowledge of using Eclipse IDE is a plus
Other Requirements
-University Degree in Computer Science
-3+ years of experience in developing financial exchange connectivity
-Experience with OM, LIFFE, AMS/3 and other Asian markets is a plus.
-Good command of spoken and written English
-Good analytical and problem solving skills
