Our client is the well respected asset management division of a leading European Financial Institution and due to continued growth in the Asia Pacific region they are presently looking for a Regional Head of Operational Risk to be based in their Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will be responsible for all matters relating to the operational risk function across Asia Pacific region and will work closely with senior management at global levels in defining the risk strategies and requirements and successfully managing their implementation. Additional responsibilities in the role include recruitment of staff in local business units and the co-ordination of SOX requirements for the region. Applications will be considered from candidates who possess in excess of eight years experience in a risk function at a respected financial institution and have a proven track record in the development and management of regional risk strategies. Candidates will be considered from overseas jurisdictions and relocation assistance will be provided.
