Job details Our client is a fast expanding international publishing group with offices around the world. A unique and exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic publishing and advertising sales management professional to join the organisation as Managing Director, Hong Kong.

Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the CEO, your primary objective will be to profitably manage the operations of the Hong Kong business in line with the company’s expectations. Working closely with senior management your major responsibility is to manage the sales team and drive advertising revenues derived from clients around the region. This will include identifying and mentoring key sales personnel and training and development of the team in general. In addition to managing the editorial and design departments of the business, your day-to-day responsibilities will also include overseeing finance, admin, HR and the overall office infrastructure.

To qualify, individuals must possess:
-Minimum of 8+ years of advertising sales / print publishing experience
-Proven track record in advertising sales and sales management
-In-depth knowledge across all aspects of publishing
-Outstanding people management, communication and motivational skills
-Native Cantonese; fluent written and spoken English a plus
