OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Territory Marketing Manager’s job is to establish territory sales plan, lay out annual work plan, develop sales and dealer network, improve customer satisfaction and supervise marketing representatives. The position exists to ensure that marketing strategies of different branches are implemented and territory sales targets are hit.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish territory yearly, monthly sales plan and annual work plan and budget
• Develop market, establish and improve sales network. Eliminate “blank market spots”
• Cultivate, develop & manage dealer
• Enhance dealer loyalty and increase market share
• Improve customer satisfaction
• Collect territory market information timely, and give improvement suggestion
• Manage, evaluate, instruct and develop employee
• Regulate and manage dealer behaviors
• Regulate and manage territory and prices per policy
• Organize and provide training to dealers on “selling points” and to end users on product knowledge
• Cultivate and follow up on potential customers
• Establish, develop and maintain government relationship directly related with sales
• Bid government project or foreign financed project
• Implement market survey directly related to sales
• Assist finance department to collect payments
• Manage cost according to budget
• Other duties as directed

SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB

Technical
• Have mechanical skills
• Have the knowledge of farming practices and applications of farm equipment
• good at Chinese and English

(Understand of business concepts, knowledge of the organisation, profitability.)
• Value marketing

• Dealer expectations on their return
• Competitor initiatives and impact of competitor initiatives
• Impact of farmer income on market

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Educational

4 year college, engineering degree or business administration, marketing management preferred
